OMG, I freaking LOVED this book and boy was it smoking HOTTTT!!!
Jennifer Sunshine was one badass and I just loved her character. She was
feisty and stubborn but at the same time funny and loveable. Jenny is
what you would call a high priced call girl living in Vegas.
When
the book starts Jenny is getting ready for a night out with one of her
clients Jude, who she has secretly had feelings for but doesn't think he
feels the same. Jude calls her before hand and asks if he can bring
another woman with him and she agrees. She soon realizes the other woman
is now Jude's girlfriend and this crushes her a little. Needing to get
it off her mind, Jenny and her best friend Nora decide to go check out a
new club opening. Jenny doesn't realize this will be the night her life
will change.
Enter Mathis Verlinden. One look at Jenny is all
it takes for him to know he must have her for his own. Jennifer finds
Mathis arrogant and brushes him off but after having way to many drinks
she agrees to let him drive her home. The problem is, she doesn't
remember anything after that. Jennifer wakes up the next morning in a
strange bed and a strange place only to find out that during the night
her and Mathis got married!! I love how no matter how hard Jenny tries
to fight her feelings and run, Mathis fights back and doesn't let her
go. I think the two have great chemistry together and I love how you get
a dual POV and see how each one feels about the other. Jenny doesn't
realize that with just one look she changes the person Mathis was into
someone better.
"My life has been missing something for a
long time. It wasn't until I saw you across that club that I realized
exactly what it was. It was never about the sex or money. It was about
the way you made me come to life that night. From the moment we met I
knew you would be a challenge" he paused for a moment, only to place a
kiss on my neck. "But every moment since then has been worth it. I'll
never want anyone the way I want you."
I loved the
secondary characters in this book. Dean is Mathis best friend and
bodyguard. From that night at the club there was an instant connection
with him and Nora and I hope that in the future we get a book on them as
well.
Lori is one of the girls Jenny hires to be one of her
girls but she soon finds that she has a connection with Lori. One
horrible night changes things for Lori. Will she be able to heal and
find love again?
Jude, he is one I was back and forth on
liking/disliking. At first I liked him and then some things happen one
night at dinner that changes things for me and I think he was an ass.
One horrible accident opens Jude's eyes and makes him want to be a
better man. Will he be able to do it? Will he be able to get the woman
he loves to love him back?
I loved the ending of this book and I
did not want it to end. I loved the sneak peek we get into book 2 at the
end and I cannot wait for Jude and Lori's book. I hope there is more of
Jenny and Mathis in there as well.

I'm a new self-published author who just got introduced to the writing world early 2013. My aunt suggested that I write a story because I'm an avid reader but I waved it off and left it alone. Well this year, a story came to me and I went with it. It took me a little bit but I finally got a story idea that worked and now I can't stop or control the characters/stories that keep popping up in my head.
I'm born and raised in Canada and I live with my very wonderful and supportive husband, Michael. We don't have any children (yet) unless you count our cat. My hubby been my rock through this whole new experience for me. I couldn't have done it without him and my friends and family.
One of the many things I love about this new chapter in my life is that I'm learning constantly. It's never a dull moment and as long as one person likes my story, I am happy.
