From USA Today Bestselling Author Nora Flite
She thought she was stepping into fame:

Meeting Drezden Halifax should have been a dream. But dreams are supposed to be sweet, fragile things that whisk you away. Not monsters crafted from hard fingers, gritty vocal cords and a voice so powerful it could tear my guts right out.

Maybe my heart, too.

Becoming the guitarist for Four and a Half Headstones was everything I needed.

Too bad the band's lead singer is doing his best to ruin everything I am.

He thought she would solve his troubles:

Lola Cooper, god damn Lola Cooper. She was the perfect guitarist, fingers that could summon a sweet song or punch a chord. She's supposed to save my band, make us come out of this tour in one piece...

But I just want to tear HER to pieces.

No one should make me feel this way. One look at her, one smell, and I knew I'd have to have her. She does things to me that scare the shit out of me. Make me want to slam her on a wall and listen to her cries: eager or fearful, it doesn't matter.

I'm a monster...
And I don't even care.

This is my 3.5 snowflake review for Hard Body Rock by Nora Flite for Eskimo Princess Book Blog.

Hard Body Rocks is about a band, Four and a Half Headstones, quest to find a lead guitarist and the aftermath that follows. The band’s lead singer Drezden Halifax is a total jerk most of the time. Yes, he is sexy, talented, and has a ton of female groupies, but is that enough to cover up his attitude problem. It isn’t until late on in the book that you see any other side of Drez. Lola is on the Four and a Half Headstones’ tour helping out her brother, Sean’s, band. They are opening for Four and a Half Headstones. Lola plays the guitar very well, so Sean gets her in the audition for Drez and his band. She blows them away, but when it comes time to actually perform together will she be able to hold it together? Will she let the nervousness that Drez brings out in her be her downfall? Lola is young, but she has a tough time keeping herself together in Drez’s presence.

This is a pretty short read. It didn’t take me very long to finish it once I started. I really felt that the author could have added more to this book since she is continuing the series. There were a few parts that I had to reread in order to understand because of the wording. The storyline seems to be going down a good path but I guess we will have to read the next book, Soft Body Rock, in order to see where it goes. So I ask myself, will Drez be able to deny the feelings he is having toward Lola? Will Lola be able to keep up with the guys and not come across as inexperienced?

I received Hard Body Rock as an ARC from the author in exchange for my honest review.
