“Never stay, Lacey. Promise me. Promise right now, that whenever things go bad in life, you will run. Never, ever stay.”

Lacey Monroe was used to running. When things got bad, when things got dangerous, when there was a chance that she would get hurt – physically or emotionally – she did what her momma said. She ran. She kept running, until she landed in Salt Rock, Alabama. She meets Roam Cooper, the Vice President of the Mayhem Motorcycle Club and for the first time in her life, Lacey considers staying…and then, right before her eyes, her world falls apart. And she runs again.

“No more runnin’, Lacey. ‘Bout time you started fighting to stay.” – Roam.

**This is a stand-alone, full length novel with a happy ever after**

This is my first Kasey Millstead book and let me tell you, I am HOOKED!! After I finish this review I am putting all of her books on my TBR list <3 a="" am="" and="" biker="" book="" br="" complaint="" did="" disappoint.="" for="" i="" is="" it="" just="" let="" me="" more="" my="" not="" one="" only="" say="" short="" sucker="" this="" to="" want="" was="">
This is the story of Lacey and Roam. Lacey had a rough childhood growing up at home because of her father. Her mother made her promise that whenever it got bad, to run.

"Never stay, Lacey. Promise me. Promise right now, that whenever things go bad in life, you will run. Never, ever stay."

Roam Cooper.....SWOON!!! Loved him!! The first time him and Lacey meet they hook up but they are not alone, its with a club whore named Christa. I figured Lacey would put a stop to it once she realized what was going on but she didn't, she joined in :)

Some bad stuff start happening and at first they are not sure what or whom but then certain events leads Roam to believe it is someone after Lacey. At first, he thinks it is her ex but after doing some digging they know it is not him. So who????

All is going great with Lacey and Roam until there is a knock at the door one day causing Lacey to do what her mother told her to do...RUN. I get why she did it but at the same time it made me want to shake her and tell her to go talk to Roam. Luckily, it all works out and the book ends with an awesome HEA. I LOVED the ending!!!!

I love Lacey's best friend Jenn. She was the best and I wish I had a bf like her. I need more on her and Switch (hint, hint)
