Excerpts
Becky's
point of view
“I already asked you this
question earlier, but do you like your suite?”
“It cost too much, Matt. But, yes.
I would be crazy to say no. I need to find a way to thank you.” My tone came
out flirty at the end.
“I know how you can.” His tone was
sultry, luring me in. Oh shit! What was on his dirty mind? “I want you to touch
yourself.”
What? “Matthew,” I laughed softly.
“You’re not here.”
“Just pretend I am. Have you ever
had phone sex before?”
I almost choked on my own saliva.
I’d heard of and done many things before, but this was a first. When I didn’t
answer, Matthew continued. “I can’t believe I’m going to be your first.” He
sounded so proud. “I’m going to make you feel so good.”
His words alone were turning me on.
Holy shit! “You mean I’m going to make myself feel good.”
He
chuckled lightly. “However you want to see it.”
The
preview porn on the television wasn’t helping either. I thought about watching
it, but Matthew or Max was going to pay the bill, and no way were they going to
find out that one of us watched one. “This isn’t going to work,” I said. But my
hand was already kneading my breast. I pretended it was Matthew’s hand instead.
“I’m stroking my dick, Becca. I’m
pretending your tongue is licking it.” Whether Matthew was really doing what he
said he was doing, I didn’t care. It was working for me. “Put your hand on your
clit, Becca, and touch it the way I do it. Pretend it’s my finger. Imagine me
sucking it hard there, baby. Can you feel me?”
Holy fuck! “Yes,” I replied,
feeling my chest rise and fall with pleasure that was building inside me.
“Now…stick your finger inside and
pretend that’s my dick. I’m going to pretend I’m inside you.”
Hearing Matthew groaning into the
phone brought me to another level of excitement. There was no way he could fake
that sound. It was too genuine, and every moan made the urge for him that much
more intense. “Can you feel me, Becca? Push in deeper.”
“It’s not the same,” I whimpered.
My body was in limbo. I couldn’t satisfy myself, and the more I tried, the
build up was too unbearable.
“Want me to finish it for you, Becca?
You want me inside you?” His tone seethed into the phone in the most delicious
way. I was already losing my mind, yearning from the need of him.
“Yes, but you’re not here.” I said
it somewhat angrily, trying to tame the throbbing ache between my legs. I was
mad at him for putting me over the edge to the point my pants were half way
down, my breast exposed, and I was now watching the stupid porn. How I got to
this point, I had no clue. It was as if his words were magic, controlling my
actions.
“I promised before that I wouldn’t
start something I couldn’t finish. Now…open the door.”
Where to start?
This is the final book in the series. We have both couples in this book, Becky & Matt, Jenna & Max and Nicole's wedding.
Through-out this book we see how spoiled Becky and Jenna are from those two wonderful men. Makes me servery jealous. We also see just how deep their friendship is. Becky and Jenna can answer for the other or totally know what the other is thinking.
The sex in this book is just wow! Great writing for these scenes! As with the other 2 books, the relationships are HOT HOT!
I also love how the author threw in a little promo for her other books while Becky is Beta reading.
Matt had me laughing out loud several times.
Sad for the series to end, but it ended so great. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the other two in the series. I also recommend that you read these books in order.
I was given a copy by the author to read and review for my honest opinion.

Wow, this story just gets better and better.
This time around we got 2 stories, more of Jenna and Max but we got lots of Becky as well.
Jenna and Max definitely have a roller coaster ride in this book. Jenna becomes more open. Becky is my favorite, I love how she just blurts out whatever is on her mind and her sassiness!
I did get a little worried for both couples in this book though, but I knew I would get at least one HEA.
I loved how Jenna blossomed in this book.
I am glad we really got to know Matthew as well.
In this book, we get to see the story from all 4 main characters in different chapters. I like knowing how the other person is feeling during the same situation, you can't always tell exactly from only one person's point of view.
Looking forward to book 3.

Maxwell Knight was dangerously
good-looking, seductively charming, and definitely trouble. He was everything
Jeanella Mefferd did NOT need now.
Fresh out of college, life
was predictable and comfortable for Jeanella. She had the strength of her
friends, the security of her job, and she was dating a reliable man; it was all
smooth sailing. That was until one night, when she met someone who made her
feel things she’d never felt before—dangerous, heart pounding, breathless heat.
Never imagining she would
see him again, Jeanella has no idea what to do when fate steps in and thrusts
Maxwell Knight into her life, just as things were beginning to change around
her. When she lands her dream job and travels to New York for Fashion Week, can she focus on
her career instead of on Maxwell?
Will she ignore all the
danger signs and jump straight into his arms; or would she miss out on the
chance of finding something great?
Loved, Loved!
I enjoyed Something Great so very much. I was drawn into this story, its so well written.
It had a bit of "Pretty Woman" (movie) feel to it at one point.
Of course, It follows the new trend of rich, super hot guy falls for plain young woman working for him. and when they have some miscommunication, one of them runs away only to not speak to each other for a few days before the truth comes out.
Even through it is similar to some other stories out now, this one is still awesome. And I recommend it to all romance lovers. This story also has some hot moments, sad moments and others you just want to hurry through to get to more good stuff
