This story isn't just about Ariana and Nick's second chance at marriage, its about their second chance of happiness and a family as well.
Instead of picking up where they left off before their separation, they decide its best to start over. And make it work, they are still very much in love and very attracted to each other. Both have to put in a lot of effort. Of course there are some minor (and major) bumps in the road- but that is with all marriages. I truly loved this story of a couple in love trying to make their marriage and love survive.
The only person that I couldn't stand, was Nick's mom. She was a total bitch and needs a real slap upside the face. I guess Grace touches a close nerve with me. And I feel for Ari having to deal with her, as I have a mother-in-law who I don't get along with.
Even in the end, I wanted to smack Grace- to me she seemed like a fake.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves romance. Nick really shows his romantic side.
I have read other books by this author's other pen name, but this one is completely different and I look forward to reading more by April Angel.
