This is my 5 snowflake review for Lick by Kylie Scott for
Eskimo Princess Book Reviews.
Lick follows the budding romance between Evelyn Thomas and
David Ferris. Evelyn is a young, beautiful woman on a birthday getaway in Las
Vegas with her best friend Lauren. She really isn’t prepared for what she wakes
up to the morning after her celebration. When she went to Vegas she sure did
not expect to wake up with a massive hangover to match the massive rock on her
finger. What will happen when she realizes that she not only married a guy she
just met, but she married one of the hottest bachelors on the market?
David Ferris seems to have it all. He is hot, sexy, rich,
famous, and doesn’t lack for female attention. He is the lead guitarist for the
very popular rock band, Stage Dive. He thinks that he has finally found the one
girl who can see him for himself, not the rock god that everyone else sees. All
David is looking for is someone to be his real. What will Ev do when she has to
decide what to do with her situation? Will David ever forgive Ev for not
remembering the night that meant everything to him? Will David finally find the
woman who will treat him like he deserves or will she turn from him and run?
I loved this book. Kylie gives us a rocker romance with lots
of unique twists and turns. The plot line is different than any other rocker
romance I have read to date. David really was a sweet loving guy underneath all
those tattoos. Ev is a good girl she is just scared of all the hype that comes
with being married to someone so famous.
I look forward to reading more about the other members of
Stage Dive and the ladies that catch their attention.
Kylie is a long time fan of erotic love stories and B-grade horror
films. She demands a happy ending and if blood and carnage occur along
the way then all the better. Based in Queensland, Australia with her
two children and one delightful husband, she reads, writes and never
dithers around on the internet.
