I really loved this story!! I can't wait to start on book 2!
This is more than just a ghost story, or ghost hunting!
This has ghost stories, a little bit of romance, sisterly bond, a pet skunk and and lots of humor.
To be honest, it could get a little spooky. But definitely a great change of pace for me. This got me out of my reading funk for sure!

Undaunted, Verity presses forward, uncovering scandalous secrets, long-forgotten ghosts, and a shocking trail of clues that places her directly in the path of a killer.

I loved this one just as much as the first book. However I think this one was way more of a mystery than book one.
Frankie (the German) is still stuck at Verity's house and he is still funny.
Verity just keeps finding herself in sticky situations, which make for a great book.
Has: mystery, humor, of course lots of ghosts and a little bit of romance

New York Times bestselling author Angie Fox writes fun, action-packed stories. She is best known for her Accidental Demon Slayer series, about a demon slayer who runs off with her grandmother's gang of biker witches. Angie is also catching a lot of buzz for her new Southern Ghost Hunter mysteries. The first book is called Southern Spirits.
While Angie's characters may be clever and fearless, in real life, Angie is afraid of basements, bees, going up stairs when it's all dark behind her, and (her friends have way too much fun with this one) puppets.
Angie lives in St. Louis, with her football-addicted husband, two kids, and Moxie the dog.
