Lunangelique:

For Alexis and Alex life has been great. They have loving parents, great friends and live a life every teenager dreams. However, they are adopted and Alexis struggles with wanting to know who their real parents are and not wanting to hurt her adopted parents. Then, a stunning guy moves across the street from them. One who has a secret past and seems to know things about Alexis. One who does mysterious things and leads her to other mysterious persons. One who pushes her to discover her extraordinary birth family and the truth between mythology and religion.

My Review:

At the beginning the book was kinda slow for me. Alex and Alexis were just typical teenagers, doing normal things right before their senior year started. Alexis meets two very attractive boys within 24 hours and ends up with a connection to the 2nd.
Alexis and Cole must keep their relationship out of school, he's a teacher's assistant, but out of school they are always together. This is when things start to pick up in the story.
Alexis keeps a documentation of things that don't quite add up-until you put it all together at the end.
Alex is very quite through most of this book, I would have liked a bit more from him. He is Alexis' twin after-all. Mostly we just see Alexis and Cole, granted their "love" story is good.
Edmund kinda gave me a rough feeling about him from the beginning, like what's his deal. Well as this book comes closer to the end, we find out what his deal is. Then he acts like a know-it-all ass.
ALexis has a serious anger problem, she blows up over little things far to often.
There is alot of stereotypes pointed out in the book, but I can look past that.
There is just a bit of action close to the end. There were quite a few spots I came to that I couldn't put the book down. Like when Alexis was about to confront Cole about something, When Edmond and Alexis were about to explain things to Alex.

 I give it 3.5 stars

Sleeping Gods:

Alexis must pick up the broken pieces of her heart and pull herself together because she has a mission: To awaken the sleeping gods. When she is at the point of giving up, wearing her pretend smiles and feels like there is nothing left of herself, her friend becomes her savior. Patryck helps put Alexis back together again and in return Alexis sees him as something more than a friend…
Together with her brother, Alex, her father, Edmund, and a team of angels they make their way to Mount Latmos, to awaken the gods. But obstacles are in their way, one of them being Cole, the traitor, the one who shattered Alexis’ heart.
New friends and family she never thought she would meet will come to aid Alexis.
…And a love will blossom that will redefine the saying, “Love you forever.”

My Review

Book 2, 4 stars for the story itself.
Alexis still has her anger issues, and it worse.  Alex is showing some real personally and backbone, maybe a little bit of a jerk in this book.
Meet more characters, and learn more about everyone.  I mean everyone, in Greek Mythology. So be prepared for a Greek lesson.  And that's a good thing, you need the little lessons cause you won't be able to keep track of all the names thrown at you!
Twists and turns, deceit and more lies.  But it all keeps you glued to the pages.  This book was better than the first.
Patryck, was a big part in this book.  He was annoying, I was happy for Lexi that she was moving on, but there was just something about him I didn't like.  He treated Lexi good, always sweet to her.  But in the end, he was hiding things from her, cheating on her and the list goes on.
Cole, still the "hero" was still always there, watching over Lexi and still very much in love with her.
Was great to have parts written in Cole's perspective.

 Awakened Gods:

Lexi has fulfilled her destiny and now the gods have awakened, but is that a good thing?
Now, Lexi lives in a world that is on a global collapse. The gods are angry that they have been forsaken and are seeking revenge on humanity. The oceans are in turmoil, tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, volcano eruptions and famine are causing global chaos, and the sun is being held hostage in an astrological phenomenal, never-ending solar eclipse by the avenging Helios.
Then, there is the problem of Zeus’ threat. Lexi must choose between giving herself to him or watching the “abominable” angels die by his hand. Not to mention, Hera, Zeus’ wife, is proposing her own jealous-driven proposition to Lexi: stay away from her husband or the angels and everyone dear to her will die. Lexi sees no way out of either predicaments and it puts a strain on her relationship with Cole. Will she lose him either way?
