ebook, 301 pages
Expected publication: February 10th 2014 by Entangled Publishing

Three knocks can change everything…

"She knew. That’s why Mom hadn’t opened the door. She knew he was dead."

Twenty years as an army brat and Ember Howard knew, too. The soldiers at the door meant her dad was never coming home. What she didn’t know was how she would find the strength to singlehandedly care for her crumbling family when her mom falls apart.

Then Josh Walker enters her life. Hockey star, her new next-door neighbor, and not to mention the most delicious hands that insist on saving her over and over again. He has a way of erasing the pain with a single look, a single touch. As much as she wants to turn off her feelings and endure the heartache on her own, she can’t deny their intense attraction.

Until Josh’s secret shatters their world. And Ember must decide if he’s worth the risk that comes with loving a man who could strip her bare.

Let me start off by saying that my heart goes out to all the men and women who serve in our Armed Forces, past present and future. I also want to send extra love to the family of those soldiers who hold down the home front while the soldiers are off fighting for our freedom.

This novel follows December Howard as she deals with the loss of her father. Her father was a surgeon serving his country in Afghanistan. After losing her dad an old crush from high school steps back into her life. Josh Walker is three years older than December. She has admired him from afar for so long. Even her best friend Sam knew about how much she wanted Josh, even after she started dating her high school sweetheart, Riley.
A few weeks after her father passed away she makes a surprise visit to Riley, only to find out that he is not the amazing boyfriend she thought he was. With December’s Life plan destroyed,  Josh is there again to pick up the pieces. Will she be able to set aside her grief and let Josh help her out? Will she ever be able to act on her feelings for Josh? Will she find out that Josh has a few secrets of his own?

Josh was wonderful. The way he was with Gus, wow! Josh was Hot, Sweet, Thoughtful, Romantic, and one of the most sought after guys in town. He really was an all-around great guy, but will his reputation as a ladies man ruin his chances at love with December?
I loved this novel. I believe that author has done a great job showing us what life is like inside the house of a fallen soldier. Tears flooded my eyes more than one time while reading Full Measures. There was a few surprising twists along the way that added quite a bit to the flow of the book. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future. I would recommend this novel to anyone who is looking for a great all around love story.

I received this book as an ARC in exchange for my honest review!
