A knock on the window pulled Vivi from sleep. It was a rough slide that ended with her heart in her throat. She snorted. Some CIA operative she was. Rook’s face was highlighted by the moon as it peeked from behind a cloud, but Vivi noticed the snow continued to fall softly. She opened the door and got out.

“Shit, it’s cold,” she muttered.

He grunted.

“Hey, that grunting thing you do? Yeah, it really gets on my nerves.”

He laughed. “Not a morning person?”

“It’s the middle of the night, so I guess not,” she bit out acerbically.

“Look at me,” he demanded.

She did but just couldn’t muster the energy to get mad at herself for obeying. “Yeah?”

“Now’s the time to cut bait and run, Vivi.”

She shook her head. “I made a—”

He held up a hand. “I know, I know. You promised Michael. But the truth is ugly, Olivia, and I’d rather not expose you to it.”

“Not your decision to make. I pulled this meet for you. He’s expecting both of us,” she reasoned.

“No, he isn’t. He’s expecting me.” He rubbed his chest. “Michael was a good man. You’ve done what his crazy ass asked. I don’t want you involved in this,” he said in a hard voice.

How had this man managed to weasel under her skin so quickly? What was it about him that made her want to throw away everything she’d worked for to save him?

She cocked her head, remembering her brother’s words, his plea. “My brother told me how you pulled him from the hut when the bullets started flying. You gave him your weapon, propped him against the outer wall of the compound your unit was scouting, and went back in for more men. He said he remembered seeing you flying out of the front door of that hut in Mogadishu, the world exploding around you. He remembered every bite of the shrapnel entering his body. He remembered you reaching him, finding his comm device and calling for help. He remembered the blood pouring from your head and your cries into his device for extraction.”

Vivi paused, her brother’s words ringing in her ears. She breathed in and smelled the antiseptic—that unmistakable hospital scent that never quite left you. “You saved him, and even though he died from his wounds, you gave him enough time for me to say good-bye.”

Her eyes blurred, but she met his gaze, tears rolling down her cheeks. “Do you have any idea what that meant to me? My brother was my world. He was all I had, and he knew I’d need something to keep me going. So he gave me you. He was the most honorable man I’ve ever known. The strongest man I’ve ever known. And I will see this through so that you live free because my brother couldn’t.”

About “War Games”

Rook Granger has been framed for a failed mission that took the lives of his entire Delta Force unit. As a soldier he’s dedicated his life freedom and truth. He’s given his heart, his soul, even a leg to the cause. He’s fought the good fight but in the bowels of the U.S. Disciplinary Barracks at Ft. Leavenworth, he’s given up hope. Then Olivia Bentwood walks into his cell and everything he thought he knew is scattered in the wind of her determination. He has no idea what she’s thinking, why she’s there, but when Olivia speaks, you have no choice but to listen. Her honor, integrity, her big brown eyes and the softness of her skin make him yearn for freedom. Then she does the unthinkable--she makes him realize he’s got some fight left. Though the truth drives him what he wants now more than anything is to keep Olivia safe, because Rook’s battle is only the first of many to come. The entity coming after them is much more dangerous and subversive than they realized and the world of war is about to change.

Accidentally Wolf Excerpt and Playlist Tour

Accidentally Wolf by Elle BoonAccidentally Wolf
Synopsis
For veterinarian Cora Welch, being bitten by a young injured wolf wasn’t the best day of her life, nor the raging fever that followed. However, finding herself faced with a naked man proved even more than she had ever bargained for. Zayn couldn’t believe what his inner wolf was telling him when he first saw the human doctor Cora, standing in nothing but a towel. The last thing he wanted was a mate, especially an accidental one. And at a time when danger seemed to be coming at the Mystic Pack from an unknown source, it just wasn’t in his plans. All he had to do was get Cora through the fever, keep her safe from the other pack, and keep his fangs to himself. But nobody told him he’d have to fight a mating urge so strong within himself, that it was a losing battle. Now, he has to explain to Cora that he accidentally marked her for a second time, making her just like him. Cora knew something was not right in her world the moment she wanted to climb her rescuer like a tree. Hearing Zayn tell her she was now a werewolf, like him and his pack, she realized she now had a home. If her new mate still wanted her after he heard about her family, Cora knew she’d be happy to be an accidental wolf. Sexy Excerpt
No stranger to touching herself, Cora needed relief. For every beat of her heart, she felt an echo between her legs. She sucked two fingers into her mouth and swirled her tongue around each digit before reaching under her lace briefs. Her body jerked as she unerringly touched her swollen clit. “Oh, yes,” she whispered. Trailing her fingers down farther, she gathered more of her own juices and rubbed in small circles, not wanting to come too quick. A male groan shattered the otherwise silent room. Cora stilled her fingers, and her head turned toward the hallway leading to the bedrooms. Standing in a pair of loose sweats was Zayn. His eyes seemed to glow from the moonlight shining through the huge picture window, but his gaze didn’t meet hers. No, they were focused on where her fingers were. Instead of being embarrassed, she decided to give him a show. With her free hand, she pushed the lacy fabric down, exposing what she was doing to his rapt attention. She used one hand to open herself up, showing him how wet she was, then retraced her fingers to her opening, plunging two fingers into her pussy. She couldn’t hold back the cry from how good it felt to be filled by anything, even her own fingers. Her eyes slid closed, unable to watch to see if he enjoyed the show. She pumped in and out with one hand, using the heel to rub her clit. “Fuck,” she panted. She was on the edge of orgasm when her hand was removed to be replaced by Zayn’s tongue. “What are you doing?” Cora asked, near the edge. “You taste so good.” Even though he didn’t answer, she didn’t care. She wanted to come. God, when was the last time she needed to come this badly? She ran her hand through his hair, amazed at how soft it was. “Don’t stop, please, don’t stop.” A rumble was her answer, and then he pressed two of his fingers into her. She forgot all about his hair or hers. She was all about sensation. She screamed as she came harder than she’d ever come in her life, but it wasn’t enough. She wanted, no, she needed, more than his fingers filling her. “Zayn, I need you. Please, please, don’t leave me. I’m begging you to fuck me. Now.” In the bright light of the day, she knew she was going to kick her own ass for the whining and begging, but at that moment she didn’t care. Her body was like a living flame, ready to burst into a million pieces if he didn’t fuck her. “You don’t know what you’re asking. It’s just the fever. Here, let me take care of you.” When Zayn rubbed his fingers on her oversensitive clit, Cora tried to pull away. With strength that shocked her, she flipped their positions, sitting astride Zayn with only a thin pair of sweats separating their bodies. She grabbed the hem of her tank and jerked it above her head, loving the way his blue eyes riveted to her breasts. Her nipples had always been sensitive to the touch, but with his gaze tracking her fingers as she pinched them into tighter points, they became hard peaks. She ground her wet core against his extremely hard erection, an erection that would’ve scared her if she was in her right mind, but she was hornier than she’d ever been. “If you don’t want to take care of me, then I will just go out and find me another man who wants me, Zayn.” With each word she rubbed up and down his shaft. He growled and reversed their positions so fast her head swam. “Mine,” he growled. The deep rumble had her pussy quivering in need. The impatient way he shoved his sweats down and kicked them off had excitement flooding her system. The vision of a naked and erect Zayn made Cora wetter, if that was even possible. She spread her legs wider in a display of wanton need. “Then take me, Zayn.” She wasn’t sure what she’d expected. Being flipped on her stomach and onto her hands and knees wasn’t it. Again, she didn’t care as long as he filled her. The sound of foil ripping open almost made her whimper at the loss. She wanted to have his seed bathing her insides and shook her head. “Are you changing your mind?” Cora looked over her shoulder. “What? No, hurry for the love of God.” With that, Zayn wasted no time, and for that Cora was pleased. If she had more time to think on her irrational thoughts, she wasn’t sure she’d have wanted to continue. Of course that was before he began. Zayn surged into her in one thrust, filling her to the point of pain. “Damn, you’re so fucking tight. Don’t move.” That was a truly laughable thing for him to say. Cora felt like someone had shoved a two by ten into her. She literally froze, hoping he’d back out slowly without ripping her in half. Her arms shook from the strain of holding herself up. How long would it take for him to go soft and get out? “I’m sorry I hurt you. Just hold still. Your body will adjust,” he grunted. “You’re not the one with a fucking baseball bat shoved up your hoo-ha.” Zayn laughed. “Relax, baby. I promise to make you feel good.” He reached between their bodies and touched Cora’s clit, but she jerked away. “Don’t do that, honey.” The endearment made Cora feel special and eased some of her tension even though she knew it was silly. “That’s it.” Zayn strummed her clit.

He turned, electric blue eyes flashing. “Come? Sit? Little girl, I am not a dog you teach to do tricks.” “Oh I don’t know. I think you know all kinds of cool tricks.” She winked. He stalked towards her. “Now you want to talk all sexual? Baby, you are playing with fire.” “If you answer my questions, I’ll reward you.” “Fine,” he sighed. He was so cute she leaned forward and kissed him, just a light brush of her lips over his. She blinked up at him when he just sat there. “I’m waiting.” “I thought you were kissing me.” He tried to deepen the kiss. Cora pulled back. “Let’s do this like a game. Do you like games?” She sucked his top lip into her mouth. Dressed in a pair of borrowed sweats that had belonged to Niall’s mate and one of Zayn’s T-shirts, Cora smiled. His eyes narrowed. “Why am I a little scared?” “Is the big bad wolf scared of little ole me?” Cora leaned back into the soft cushions with one knee bent, the other with her foot planted on the floor. “For every answer you give me, I’ll take off a piece of clothing. Once I’m down to the skin, you can have your wicked way with me.” For Cora it really was a win-win situation. Zayn moved closer so their knees were touching. “Think of something, anything.” Keeping the image of her imaginary wall firmly in place, she kept her naughtiest thoughts behind it. However, the things she pictured made her nipples hard and had a flush covering her pale skin. “Damn it, that’s not fair. You’re thinking of sex. You can’t think of sex,” he growled. She slapped his thigh. “You could read my thoughts still?” “No, your body told on you. I couldn’t read or see a thing. Now off with something.” Zayn waggled his eyebrows. Cora looked down at her bare feet, chewed on her bottom lip, and then decided to take the oversized top off. She still had her bra on, much to Zayn’s dismay. The borrowed T-shirt dropped between them soundlessly. She watched Zayn look at the white T, then her chest, and back again. He bared his teeth in a grimace, and then knocked it off their legs. “No fair. Girls wear too many clothes.” His eyes however gleamed with appreciation. She took a breath. “How will I know how to picture my wolf?” That was a question that really bothered her. “While you were out, I texted my mom. She says for you to picture a smaller version of a dark brown wolf. Your wolf is inside you and will know what it needs to look like. However, she…ah…she said the first time for a turned werewolf isn’t the same as for us born.” She waited, and when it didn’t seem like he was going to go on, she waved her hands. “And?” Zayn raised an eyebrow. “I answered a question. I’m waiting for my reward.” He sat back and crossed his arms. Oh, he was so going to pay. She reached behind her, pretended she couldn’t quite get the catch of her bra to come undone. “Can you help me?” As she turned to give him her back, she accidentally brushed the bulge straining the front of his sweats with her palm and pretended not to notice his swift intake of breath. * * * * Zayn loved the way his mate wanted to play with him. Wolves as a whole were a playful lot, unless their families were attacked. He shook off the fear and anger, not letting anything intrude upon the game Cora had begun. After he unhooked the bra, he helped her remove the article of clothing, tossing it behind him, accidentally brushing her nipples. Cora rolled her eyes and shook her head like he was a petulant child. “So what did she say was the difference?” “She said because you are already a full grown adult you shouldn’t trip over your paws. Our young tend to stumble just like toddlers do when they first learn to walk.” He watched her mouth drop open, and then her small body launched forward, knocking him on his back. Zayn caught her arms to her side. Her laughing and calling him names amused him like nothing ever had. Yes, he’d played with his brother and Jett when they were cubs, and he loved playing with the kids of the pack. But wrestling with a half-naked Cora was on a different level completely. He’d had lots of sex, more than he cared to admit. Not that he was ever callous or didn’t make the women feel important, but they hadn’t been his mate. The bond between him and Cora was like a living breathing thing he never wanted to do without. “You cheated. Now you have to take something off.” Cora rested with her elbows on his chest, staring at him in earnest. “Since you seem to be making up these rules, is there a certain item I need to take off or is it my choice.” She tapped her finger on her chin. “I say a shirt for a shirt.”

I’m a wife and mother who is a retired stay at home mom of 2. I say retired because my youngest is 14 and my oldest is 20. When my baby went to school, reading saved my sanity, and then the same year he started school, I was diagnosed with Cancer, again reading saved my sanity. When I recovered and realized how quickly life could change, I made a bucket list. The number one thing was to live. Check. On top of that list was to become a published author. Check. Eight years later I have accomplished that goal and several others. I live in the Midwest, but I”m a southern girl with only a slight twang who says y’all quite frequently, and am known to say “Bless Your Heart” A LOT. If you know what that means, you do not want to be the one I say that to, lol. I cuss worse than if a trucker and a sailor were put together, but I do it with class *WEG*. I write what I love to read, erotic romance. My books are definitely full of lots of story, but I leave nothing to the imagination in or out of the bedroom. My hope is that after readers have read one of my stories, they fall in love with the characters as much as I have. Left Behind by Vi Keeland and Dylan Scott Excerpt Reveal & Giveaway

A New Adult Romance novel

New York Times Bestselling Author Vi Keeland and Dylan Scott
Release date 10/16/2014

Sneak Peek Excerpt
He looks up and I watch his eyes take me in.  Slowly.  They rake over me, dropping from my eyes to my glossed lips down to my exposed shoulders.  Taking his time, he follows the neckline of my simple, yet body contouring sundress, lingering when he reaches my full breasts.  I’m sufficiently covered, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t aware that the dress showed off my assets well.  Tight around my chest, gathering snuggly at the waist, with a scant amount of cleavage.  Just enough coverage to still leave something for him to imagine.  And I watch his face change as his imagination takes off running.
His eyes drift down my legs, tanned now from the eternal California sun.  Momentarily he’s lost in what he sees and doesn’t even notice I’m watching him leer.  Totally worth the extra effort getting ready tonight, I couldn’t be happier at the reaction I get.  Eventually, his eyes make their way back up to mine and I arch one eyebrow, letting him know he’s been caught.  A normal reaction might be to look embarrassed or perhaps even flustered a little.  But not Zack.  Instead, he flashes me a wicked grin.  “You look incredible.”  He’s the one doing the leering, yet I’m the one who ends up blushing.

About the Authors:

Vi Keeland is a native New Yorker with three children that occupy most of her free time, which she complains about often, but wouldn't change for the world. She is a bookworm and has been known to read her kindle at stop lights, while styling her hair, cleaning, walking, during sporting events, and frequently while pretending to work.  She is a boring attorney by day, and an exciting smut author by night!

Dylan Scott
Dylan Scott is a New York trial attorney, wife and mother of four.  She believes her job as a trial attorney is a subcategory to the field of entertainment more than law.   With a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature she believed teaching English was a destined career choice until she realized her life long talent of "argument" could actually be her job.   A recent, fairly boring, midlife crisis resulted in a brief stint as a middle school English teacher which confirmed that she wasn't ready to give up the law.   Dylan has also taught legal courses at the college level and worked with at-risk inner city youth in the roles of mentor and coach.  She is co-author Vi Keeland's biggest fan.

Teaser
(Mason’s point of view)

Suddenly, something caught the corner of my eyes and I turned away from Sky. Tiny bubbles of water hovered in the air in front of us. They looked like bubbles, so I zapped one with a small bolt and it popped.
I knew it was from Sky by the sly yet innocent smile and her giggles, not to mention a few more bubbles coming out of the water bottle. It was amazing to see this transformation, yet she was handling it better than I would have. Perhaps it was the fact that she was getting used to the paranormal life, and she had support around her.
I closed the bottle and handed it to her just in case she wanted more. With a shake of my head, I mouthed, “No, no, no.” After planting a kiss on her forehead, I put it back inside the backpack.
To my surprise, I saw more water bubblies, so I poked one with my finger … it wasn’t the reaction that I got last time. My finger went right through it, and it retained its form when I removed my finger. I even used my bolt, but nothing happened.
Turning at the sound of laughter, I noted we were engulfed with water bubbles, multiplying by the second. I glanced at Noah and Tim, the two that I thought were behind this, but when they seemed fascinated by it. Therefore, I knew they had nothing to do with it, especially since their water bottles were closed. The only other person I thought would do this was Sky, but she appeared worried instead of amused.
“Mason. I’m not doing this. I don’t think it’s from one of us,” she said under her breath. Her eyes were wide and frightened, glued to the bubbles dancing in front of her.

Teaser
(Skylar’s point of view)

When I sensed movement, I peered up. Seeing countless liquid droplets hovering above us, as if they were raindrops frozen in place, was a clear indication that Poseidon’s descendants were somewhere in the room. It was a beautiful sight, yet deadly. I knew at any moment it could change its shape into something sharp and lethal. I became uneasy, especially when they were right above us.
When I followed the line of the vultures’ vision, I saw liquids of various colors—the colors of whatever drinks had spilled on the floor—slithering toward us. Then they lifted, swirling continuously in a circular motion, and finally forming into a huge sphere.
“Why are they still in human form?” Nicked shouted, having both of his hands raised, ready to attack. “They’ve already scared all of the humans away.”
“I have no idea,” Mason replied.
“Where’s Kayla?” I asked frantically. Bewildered by what I was able to do, I had forgotten about my cousin.
“She’s out. She’s underneath the bar,” Nick explained. “I had no choice. It was the safest place.”
I felt horrible. Many times before, Kayla had to be knocked out, but at least she was safe and that was all that mattered.
“What do we do?” Amanda asked. “We’re just standing here in ninja stance, having a staring contest.”
“Maybe they’re not vultures?” Everett added.
“They sure smell like them,” Nick sneered.
“Maybe they’re scared shitless. I would be too if I had those things pointing at me,” Nick commented.
“What do you want?” Mason asked the strangers in an authoritative tone, and asked another when there was no answer. “Who sent you?”
