**** 1/2 lol Loved Emma and Micah first off. They were sparks flying from the first time they touched and it was a whirlwind from there. NOT to give too much away....BUT I think that Emma finding out she is a witch just out of the blue and learning how to deal with her abilities and then finding out about her 'never spoken of father' and then falling in love, being betrayed by someone close, well that's just the way to spin a story! you just wanted to keep reading to find out what happens next. I really enjoyed how the author mingled in her supporting characters, the room mate Kyle is just a mess and I love how him and Emma interact with each other. The story doesn't leave you 'hanging' but leaves you wanting the next book so you can continue reading cause the story line gets even better with just a simple phone call. I simply loved this book and look forward to the next installment in this series so I can see what happens in Emma's life next. This was a gift from the author for my HONEST opinion....WTG Michelle! and I can't wait for your next book!! PLEASE don't keep me waiting!




I’m a stay at home mom to my two amazing (but crazy kids), married to my best friend, student and then didn’t think that was enough so I added in writing. I never thought that I would become a writer, I was more a ‘reader’, then one day my husband said, “just write a short story.” It turned into a full length book. Dark Secret, however, is my first Paranormal Romance and I have to say I enjoyed writing it more than I did my Contemporary Romance! I’m so lucky to have the opportunity to write and meet so many people that enjoy my books!
