Betting the Farm
Clay Hearts, Book One

Fritz Carter has carved out a nice life in his hometown of Serenity, Georgia. Together with his brothers, theyve made the family farm more successful than ever. Fritz wants for very littlesave for the girl hed loved in high school. The girl whod left Serenity behindleft Fritz behind as well.
The girl who just sauntered into the local dive bar, looking all woman and hotter than ever.
Fritz would have to be blind not to want Kai back in his bed. Hed also have to be stupid to give her his heart. Not again. Not right away. Theyve both changed, and past hurts havent healed as well as either had thought. A few sultry summer nights in Kais arms dont equal loveeven if his heart says otherwise.
Candi's 5* Review:
OMG, I absolutely loved this book!! I was hooked from page one and there was no putting it down till the very end. I love stories on getting a second chance at love and Fritz and Kai def don't disappoint.

After Kai left Fritz and the life they were suppose to behind years ago he never expects for her to come back to Serenity....much less to him but has to much time passed and will Fritz be able to forgive Kai for taking off? Will they get the HEA they were suppose to or will her family intervene once again?

I love seeing the connection and the relationship between Kai and Fritz grow. I don't know how Kai left Fritz in the first place but I am so glad she finally came back to her senses. The scene between Fritz, his brother Eli and Kai.....HOLLLLYYYY HOTNESS!! I so did not see that one coming but loved it. I can't wait to get my hands on Eli's book!!

About Annie Evans:
A simple country girl who adores living in the South, I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors, biking and working out with my hubby, reading, and, of course, writing. I believe the most important thing you can do for a child, outside of loving them unconditionally, is to put a book in their hands. My favorite authors include Flannery OConner, Harper Lee, Gillian Flynn, Megan Hart, Cara McKenna, and Anne Calhoun, just to name a few. You wont find me on social media much because I think thats time better spent writing, but Id love to hear what you thought of my books, so shoot me a line at annieevans.writerATgmailDOTcom.
