RELEASING MAY 2014

Ashley’s Bend-a knot used to securely join the ends of two ropes together.

Ashley Carter thought she had the perfect life as the loving and supportive wife to her upcoming attorney husband. Marrying her high school sweetheart and moving to Chicago to start a life with him seemed perfect, until she ends up walking in on him with another woman.

Determined to start her life over after always sacrificing herself, she attends the grand opening of a new club in town with her best friend. She went expecting to have a good time, what she didn’t expect was to meet Dominic Michaels.

Dominic Michaels is the owner operator of a string of BDSM clubs, The Celtic Knot. He displays control and power over everything in his life, especially his women. Having suffered through a tragic event at a young age, he never allows a woman to remain a part of his life beyond the bedroom, that is until he meets Ashley Carter.

Can the love of a woman loosen the knots of control that Dominic securely holds on to?

Sometimes it is hard to make the shift from control to surrender.

This is my 5 star review for Ashley’s Bend by Cassy Roop for Eskimo Princess Book Reviews.

Ashley’s Bend follows Ashley Carter and introduction into the BDSM lifestyle. Ashley is married to her high school sweetheart. Her husband Jared is a new attorney so their marriage has turned sour. He spends all of his time at work and he over the last couple years has started to treat Ashley differently. Then he makes a terrible choice, Ashley tries to surprise him at work only to be the one surprised. After her husband betrayal she leaves, only to be introduced to Dominic Michaels, a dominant and co-owner of The Celtic Knot. Will Ashley be able to turn her life into what she wants it to be? Will Dominic be the one to help her heal after her husband betrayal?

Dominic Michaels is hot and sexy. He knows how to pleasure a woman but always leaves his desires at the bedroom door. He doesn’t want a relationship and doesn’t feel that he needs one. That is until he meets the beautiful Ashley at the grand opening of his club. Will Ashley be the one to turn his world upside down? Will he be able to make her into the submissive he desires?

I really liked Ashley’s story. I felt that it was exciting and entertaining. Ashley was strong and never gave up on herself, well for the most part. I can admit that she did make a few bad choices but I guess we will see what the consequences of those bad decisions are in the next book. I really hate that the book left us hanging the way that it did. The plot caught me by surprise. I was NOT expecting things to lead where they did. I found a few editing issues that I had to work through but I did not let it interfere with my assessment of the content of the book.

If you like BDSM then this book would be a good choice for you! I look forward to reading more from the author and more about the people of The Celtic Knot.
