I lost it all...
My hope, my happiness, and my will to live. My heart was tattered and torn from the promise of real love.
Until him...
His profound love for living, fortune cookies and collection of rusty matchbox cars made me smile again. It is a simple love story. I found my rainbow, my pot of gold, my piece of beautiful all in one simple man. Miles.
Not every happy ending is perfect...
A hidden secret forces me to reveal my hand and choose between my Prince Charming and my family.
My choice. My consequences. My story. My Mistake.
This is my 5+ star review for Miles by HJ Bellus.
Miles is about Miles Tackett and Willow Fitzpatrick from the
My Way Series. Willow is broken, she has shut down her emotions and she is only
the shell of her former self. She doesn’t know any other way to cope with her
life other than to go into bitch mode and protect herself. She struggles on a
daily basis and some days she just wants to check out. The only thing keeping
her going are the days she gets to spend with Annie. Will she be prepared for
Miles? Will Tripp and Cree and the rest of the family ruin her chance at love?
Miles Tackett is handsome, down to earth, and always looking
out for his crazy girl. He has had so many struggles over the years that he
sometime forgets what it is like to be truly happy. He notices something in
Willow from the moment he meets her. He knows that she needs him, and he isn’t
scared to push her buttons. Will he be able to share his secret with her? Will
he smother her demons and bring the true Willow forward?
OMG, I absolutely loved this book. I had a rainbow of
emotions take over me while reading this book. I laughed so hard at the banter
between characters. I also wanted to reach through my kindle and smack a few of
the characters as well. I thought this book was really well written. It was raw
and honest and so worth the time and effort that I put into reading it. I have
loved the My Way series since the beginning. It is awesome getting to see just
how far the characters have come. I loved Miles; I thought he was absolutely
magnificent. He is so fresh and easy to love, and the things that he could do
with his fingers, oh my gosh…it had my kindle ready to combust! Ripley made my
heart hurt and Annie made it smile.
